Half-way throught the week

Here it is Wednesday....yeah!! I have been fighting a headache since last night. Stress??? Stress??? Can't imagine what could be bringing on the headache. lol.
My Aunt Mary made it home today after some surgery yesterday. Everything went well...praise God!! We are happy she is going to be home to fully recover [sometimes though I wonder if hospitals...insurance companies...kick patients out too soon...$$$$$] where she is comfortable and more at ease. God is good!!
Monday and Tuesday on the way home from school we have been tied up by a train running through downtown!! We have named it the '4:00' train. Today we were a little earlier so we could make deposits and do the mail run...we beat the train today and felt great about it!! I think this is the train as it made its way to Eltopia. I beat it once again today. Good timing today.
Mom, Pat, Barb, Auntie and I met tonight at Auntie's house. We have made it 2 weeks in a row! I am thrilled with us. We had a nice talk. Last week we didn't get out until almost 7:00 but tonight I had to leave earlier than that. It was still nice to have some refreshing conversation.
Scheduling is finally starting to ease up. Our counselors have been troopers through this week and last. Good job Marcie and Ruben!! They have a tough job but do it well. CHS is lucky!!!
Tomorrow and Friday will be spent getting the report cards printed, stuffed, and mailed. It will be rewarding to get my first set of high school report cards out. Cross your fingers for me!! (-:

Happy Birthday Cash!!

Yes, this is a picture of the SUN!!

Just getting home, couldn't help but take a picture!! Lots of people were happy to get to see this beautiful object. It was a little on the deceitful side, however, because the temperature was COLD!! Didn't get much over 30 degrees today. It is still winter people!! (-:

Another day of scheduling paradise at good ole' CHS!! Lots of kids were determined to get their schedules changed because of this class this hour, that class that hour, etc. There wasn't a whole lot of changing going on because there wasn't a whole lot of places or classes to change into!! Oh well, such is life. Sorry kiddos!!
Tonight we went to celebrate Cash turning 5 years old. Happy birthday to you!! We got him a pair of shoes, which he seemed to be pleased with. Towards the end of the night Miss Kennedy was rather pleased with them also....and had a fit when her brother tried taking one from her. She really does have a thing for shoes. She was giving him the look-of-death when he tried taking one of them off of her. What a girl she is!
Testing the goods....gotta make sure the frostings is good!!
Just being a ham (-:
The song has begun...."Happy Birthday, dear Cash, Happy Birthday to You!!"
Make a wish and blow out the candles!!
And blow some more.....

Got them all, finally!

Eating the goods.

Here are his muscles....aren't they big!!
Oh, and here are the shoes!!
This next section is dedicated to Kala....I was talking to her mom tonight and she asked if I had taken any pictures of her at the game last week. This is the perfect place to put them so she can see them (-: Sorry Kala!!! P.S. Congratulations Eagle of the Week!!!

Sunday, Sunday

Friday was "Blackout" day....Burbank and us have the same colors, purple and gold, so we are hosting a black-out day for fun. Here is a picture of Paxton all dressed up:
The rival games proved hard fought. CHS came out on top of all games except for the JV Boys. Our good friends from baseball were there and playing hard. It was hard to totally not cheer when they did something good!! Both the varsity games were for 1st place. Connell is now leading both leagues. Good job! Here are some pictures from the evening:

Uncle Greg during the game...coming back with popcorn!!
Our friend, Neal....go Neal, go Neal...
Our friend Nick going to the basket!!

Nick is open!!
Kayla and Briar chatting during the game.
Saturday was spent cleaning the house and doing some rearranging. Everyone got involved in the cleaning...the girls in the house and the boys in the shop. The living room now looks like this:

Brodie was tired after all the moving around of furniture and the vacuum running. THAT freaked him out for a bit!! (-:
The kids drove to Royal City to the basketball games Saturday night. I worked on some bookwork...fun fun!!

This morning (Sunday) was the Annual Meeting at church. I went and gave the Treasurer's Report. Afterwards I took Paxton and Brad into town and we did ran a couple of errands. Not too exciting a weekend...which is good!! KieOsha spent the night. Her and Paxton were none too cooperative in this picture!!
Tonight is The Unit...yeah! Full week of school this week. Gotta get some tax stuff done also.

Ok, so as promised yesterday, here is the finished product from Paxton's art final:

Pretty impressive if you ask me (which I know you didn't, but you get the answer anyway!)
