Survival

We have survived, if only barely, our second "first" day of school! Yesterday was the official first day of school but only the freshman came to CHS. Today the rest of the classes had their first day....hence the second "first" day of school.

The first day of school with just the freshman was crazy. Today was CRAZIER! Everyone with missing classes got attention today. Tomorrow we will start with those that need/want changes. Lord have mercy!

That's all I have to say. For now. Survival.

A Visitor

Kaylee came and stayed with me yesterday while her dad went to work with Kyle. We had a good day. She ate a good breakfast, 2 eggs and yogurt, posed for me (the camera) with a cheesy "cheese" face, played catch with Nick, used a shovel in the garden and tormented the cat. All-in-all a good day!

Survived the First Day Back

Today was the first day back to work. It went well. Central Office provided the Secretary Meeting and lunch, plus a goodie bag! and our district nurse went over all the procedures that we have to be trained on each year. They hooked us up with a First Aid Class and then disbursed us all back to our respective buildings right after lunch.

A couple of families came in and got all their paperwork ready, fees paid, physicals turned in. Football practice starts Wednesday, volleyball, cross country and girls soccer starts Monday, so all athletic paperwork has to be filled out, turned in and fees paid before students can go to practice.........it is going to be a hectic next couple of days! On your mark, get set, GO!!

Where Have I Been???

I went on a road trip with Kathy for a week. We drove clear down to Crescent City, California and then followed US 101 North up the Oregon Coast, up to Astoria, over to Portland and then home again. We had the greatest time just driving and observing.

Grandma and Grandpa Reeve sold their house and moved to the Coventry House in Othello. I went with mom this last week and checked it out. It was awesome. They are so cute there! The grounds are very well kept and their house is cozy and just what they need.

It was Frito Bandito Night at the Pond this last Thursday. Greg, Jan, Dad, Mom, Jeff, Jenna, the boys and Kennedy, Kyle, myself and the boys all went out and hung out for the evening. The boys went frog hunting and I went picture taking! Cash did take a great picture of the sun going down so I added that to this post as well. Good job, Cash!

The last group of pictures is from flying with Jeremy Friday night! That was a hoot!! He called and asked if I wanted to go......of course!! He took 2 trips. The first was Chance, Cash and myself and the second was with Jenna, Lane and Dawson. What an experience. I can't wait to go again. He took us over the ranch and our house. You don't remember how beautiful this country really is until you can see it from up above.
