This last Sunday was a big day in our family...the Hailey Brothers came from Missouri and homesteaded Hailey Company in Mesa and Hailey Ranch in Eltopia, 100 years ago!!! How awesome is this??? The afternoon was spent reminiscing and visiting and having a great time. I hadn't seen some of the people that attended ever and lots of them I hadn't seen in ages. Getting reacquainted was fun. Here are some pictures I took:
My aunt Janelle Hailey Duprie with my grandfather Allen Hailey and my great uncle Lester Hailey. Allen and Lester are the sons of Ollen Hailey (Allen's father) and Ben Hailey (Lester's father)....the 2 gentlemen that started Hailey Ranch and Hailey Company!
My grandparents....Tillie and Allen Hailey!!! Cute aren't they!! (-:
Tillie and Virginia Hailey...we called Virginia "Gramma Jimmer" growing up!
My father, Jim Hailey, giving hay rides. Here he is telling everyone to remain seated during the trip!
Here is a picture that was hanging of my great grandfather, Ollen Hailey, sitting on the horse in from of the barn, with his cows.
Great antiques!!
Jeff Hailey and BJ Hailey....4th generation Hailey's in charge of Hailey Ranch and Hailey Company nowadays!!
Cousin Leslie Hailey and Patti Bailie!!
All the rugrats in the pool having a great time!
My mother and brother: Jeanne Hailey and Jeremy Hailey.
Cash Hailey....5th generation rancher!!
Dawson Hailey...he's really not an unhappy kid like he is showing himself to be here in this picture!!
Jeremy Hailey and sister-in-law, Jenna Hailey (Jeff's wife).
The youngest attendee....Mr. Crue Biorn Davis with his sister Edie Davis. These 2 beauties belong to my cousin Libbey Bailie Davis.
What great pictures! Looks like a fun celebration! And - how lucky you are that both of your sets of grandparents are alive!! :)
