Water, Baseball and Fire

Saturday...
We were going to go to Moses Lake but decided Scooteney was just as good at 4:00 in the afternoon. Briar had to work and didn't get off as early as he thought he was going to. But, when it is over 100 degrees, as long as there is water, it is GOOD!!

Briar's turn.

Everyone got in and swam around.

The Hawkins were out enjoying the water also.

This was Kyle getting Briar....

All's good.

OUT at 3rd )-:

Throw to 1st. They ended up losing the game, by 1, in the last inning.
AND finally, Thursday night....FIRE!!! The fire was right in our backyard, up on the hillside. Jenna called the house and asked if the fire was close. We looked out the window and there it was!! Close?? I'd say yes!! Called 9-1-1 and got out there doing whatever possible to get the fire out. Trucks from Basin City, Mesa, Connell and Eltopia were here in no time at all, getting down to business and putting it out. Here are some shots afterwards:

There were 3 of these trailers to start with....fire took 2 of them out.

This is about 30 minutes after I got home....that last trailer went up!
