Hawaii....Day 5

Today we headed to Pearl Harbor. It was the best!! We spent from about 11:30 until 5:00 when it closed there. We didn't have time for the Museum....I was bummed. The rest of the tours were great.

The ship was hit once by a Japanese Kamakazi...this was the only damage done to the ship.

Brad in the Captain's chair.

On the way back to the hotel I made Kyle stop at China Town. Nobody was really impressed but me!

We can all use a glimpse of other culture!!

Hawaii, Day 4

This morning we took the Pali Highway north.
This is the view from the top of the Island:
The Nu'uana Pali Lookout.

Next we went to the middle of a neighborhood and hidden in it was a trail to the Maunawili Waterfall. Awesome!
It was a 1 1/2 mile hike, up, and up, and up...

Across many streams....

This is a view from one of the viewpoints.

Almost there....

Here it is!! Not only is it a Waterfall, but a place that the locals cliff dive from. Amazing!!

Wait...there's Brad! He's not a local!! (-:

Front flip anyway!!

Here's Tarzan.

This big tree is on Waikiki Beach.

Renting a surfboard is easy at Waikiki Beach.

Late in the afternoon we took a Sunset Cruise on this Catamaran.

Briar actually got to drive the boat!! Brad was nearby for help if needed.
Waikiki from the Pacific Ocean.

Sunset starting.

Sails

Lots of conversation.

Sunset.

Can you see Hurricane turned Depression Felicia coming towards us?? (-:

Great day!!
