More STATE Pictures
After checking out some newspapers, I compiled these pictures taken from photographers from The Tri-City Herald, The Tacoma Tribune and Seattle Times: in no particular order (:

STATE CHAMPION EAGLES!!!
I headed over to the west side Friday after school with Lane, Chance, Brad and Nick. When we got to Leslie's here is how we were met:

I LOVE it!!! The boys all played hard and had a good time with each other. This was the first time for Matt and Lucas to meet Lane and Chance....all athletes who love sports...how did they get along??? Don't really need to answer that!!

We arrived at the Tacoma Dome Saturday morning during the Lynden vs West Valley game. Lynden won. It was then time for the Eagles!!

The Captains meet in the middle....

The team introductions....

GAME ON!!!!!

Here goes Shane for our first touchdown!!! AWESOME!!! The Connell side has come alive!!

December 2.....Report to Franklin County Superior Court
Today was JURY DUTY!!! Yeah!! NOT!!! We had to be at the Court House by 8:30 a.m. Got there, went through the question/answer session and then waited for the Jury Coordinator to get out numbers printed off so we could get moving along. We waited. We waited. We waited some more and then finally they came out to tell us that while printing the numbers the computer crashed and were were to leave and come back at 1:30 when we would get things rolling. Lovely. It's 11:00 by this time....not enough time to go home and come back, not to mention the gas money it would cost and with the whopping $10.00 you make for coming to Jury Duty, THAT money is not going to last long. So WHAT was a person suppose to do? I ended up going and getting gas, stopping by the bank and then going to WalMart to walk the aisles with the thousand other people that have nothing to do on a Wednesday! Joy. Finally went back to the Court House and sat in the parking lot for awhile before going back into the courtroom. The afternoon was spent listening to potential jurors (that's us) get asked questions by the attorneys and the judge and finally at 4:00 14 jurors were sitting in the juror box. My number was 35. The last number to get placed in the box?? 32. Did I mention that this is going to be at least a 3 week trial? You already know the way I feel about not getting seated!
I call in again this Friday.
