Extended Weekend With Kyle...

We had a 3-day weekend with President's Weekend but no school Tuesday led to a 4-day weekend so Kyle and I headed south for a few days, just bumming around, nowhere for sure the destination.

Valentine's Day we ate at Fat Alberts in southern Portland.

What a great place. Great character.

Breakfast is served.

Gorgeous flowers in front of a flower shop. People would come and buy individual flowers and make up their own bouquets. Awesome!

This lady was sprinking Valentine cheer up and down the sidewalk. What a treat!! This was one of my favorite things the whole weekend. Rose petals to brighten up anyone's Valentine Day.

What a guy! Spoiled me rotten all the time we were gone. Gotta love that!!

It is always fun to start out on an adventurous weekend but it is always just as great to drive up the driveway in good ole Eltopia!

Another week done...

This week seemed a little on the long side...for the most part. I'll just say I am glad that it is Friday.

Volleyball practice Tuesday and Wednesday nights and then Kyle and I got our Christmas massages last night. It felt AWWEESSOOMMEEE!! I was way more impressed than Kyle. What do guys know??

Monday night I did it...got all my tax stuff DONE!! I am so glad. One thing I can get crossed off my list. Worked on bookwork the rest of the evening until 24 came on and then it was focus on Jack. Kyle gave me all his receipts up to date and I worked at getting them entered in the checkbook and crossed off the credit card bill. I was glad when number-day was over!

Getting ready for the weekend. Pax has volleyball in Couerd'Alene Sunday so her and I are going to go up tomorrow and go shopping; well, sight-seeing anyway! I am going to sleep in though, first.
